I am eighty years old, married with two children and four grandchildren.

This is my last story for a while. I would like to thank everyone for their comments. I have learnt a lot from them.  These stories would have just been thrown into a drawer and forgotten about if I had not seen ABCTales in an old copy of the Writers And Artists Year Book I saw on a market stall in Keswick.  I am useless with computers. My Grandaughter Isobel put them up for me and I am very greatful to her. I would also like to thank my wife Mary for her help and patience.  All my other stories dealt with things I have seen heard or experienced.  The Moonshiners is a work of my own imagination and I am worried about it as I have never been west of Blackpool.  I have an old banjo and I stumble through a few songs of the southern mountains.  Maybe an American reader could tell me if the story is credible.  I take from this experience that I must improve my writing skills before I come back to ABC tales but I have enjoyed it all very much.
