I am a Brummie living in Northampton who loves to write but gets distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought.

My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft. Everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .

Hi Jenny. Personally, I like ambiguity in poetry. Often the best poems are the ones where more is left unsaid and open to the reader's interpretation. There are some wonderful lines in this. Paul :)

I think there remains an area of Afghanistan that eludes Taliban control and the fighters there continue to resist. I guess we'll see where this all ends up. Difficult times for Alfred Muggins and everyone else at the moment.
