I am a Brummie living in Northampton who loves to write but gets distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought.

My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft. Everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .

I have work published by AlienBuddha Press, Loft Books, BlackBough Poems, DarkWinter Literary Magazine and Paragraph Planet.

Speculation has it that

Posted on Fri, 30 Sep 2022

Speculation has it that Russia is feeling the impact of sanctions and it will have a bigger effect as time goes on. The lack of basic understanding of how economics work is breathtaking from Truss and Kwarteng. Sadly, the right man for the job...

Glad you are feeling better now. Being down is just being human and wanting to be with your daughter is OK. Keep smiling as best you can and keep writing. Take care of yourself. Paul x

An ominous, brooding tale ultimately ending with the light of dawn. Another fantastic story in different senses of the word. Paul :)

"Spikey case around soft

Posted on Thu, 29 Sep 2022

"Spikey case around soft mattress..." You have captured the life and times of a horse-chestnut with poetic panache. I have seen squirrels disappearing with whole ones in their mouth recently. It's quite a sight! Hoping most end up becoming trees...
