N... Cats Belong In Ovens

"Cats belong in ovens"
My Granny used to say,
And so she'd bake or boil one
Every single day.
Tom cats were her favourite
She was partial too to tabby,
She wouldn't touch the wild ones though -She found them much too
flabby.
On Sundays she would treat herself
To plump and juicy kitten,
Sometimes she'd eat two or three
All in a single sittin'.
When Granny lost her teeth they said
"They'll be no more cats for her -
It's hard to eat a pussy
When you can't bite through the fur"
But Granny had some dentures made
From armour-plated clay,
And kept on eating kittens
Right until her dying day.
