Each day, the sun rises and then gently falls
back into darkness. A new lease of life gives
birth to new opportunities. The rose bows its
head in the breeze. Our hands connect bringing
me comfort and security- the rain is tapping on
our window, resting somewhere it feels safe. I
take your hand in mine and detect every line and
crease on them- enough to start mapping out our
life together, hoping that this journey will last forever.

Very good work Beeme, I enjoy these shorter pieces mate.

Girl that was the kind of thing that takes a page to express, you did it in three lines.

Beeme, just a question. You're 16 yet you write like an adult, like you know the concepts of your writing e.g. love, war etc. Many 16 year olds in America aren't nothing like that. Not sure if it's only a few or all 16 year olds in Britian. I just think it's awesome how do you write about so much deep stuff at a young age and only living a fraction of your life?

Thanks glad you enjoyed the poem. Errm answering your question is hard lol.I don't know really how I write about them topics-by putting myself in certain mind sets(what would they feel, how would they express their pain, their love etc). I have been writing since I was 11, so maybe that helps a little and my poetry then was very deep, mainly about depression, so I've always wrote about deep topics. Hope that makes sense lol :)

new Beeme yes this is so compact.maybe life has dealt
you several blows and you can explain pain like I can sometimes. But as Pinda says so young. But amazing
way you concentrate and flow stories, and poems.I think.
