Love Waits Patient
Do not stand crying at my grave
Look up and give a cheery wave
If you see a bird flying in the sky
Then you will know I did not die
Until the time our vows renew
I wait patiently for you
Our love can never be defined
Our destiny is so entwined
You will join me when you can
But you must live your full lifespan
In happiness and not in grief
This must be my firm belief
Or I cannot live happy in my after life
If I see you grieve for your lost wife
You and I are destined to be together
When that day comes it will be forever

Thank you Tina, for taking the trouble to read and comment on my little effort. However, today I read a beautiful poem that you had written but at the time did not have time to comment on it. Will do so now.

Hi Denzella. My second time reading this. It did strike me the first time as being so personal. Happy for you.

Hello Blessing
I'm in my pyjamas are you in disguise?
Thank you for reading and commenting on my poem. How very perceptive of you. Yes I am very fortunate to have met the love of my love when I was fourteen. This year we celebrate our golden wedding.
Thank you once again.

This is beautiful. It must be terrible to be the one left behind. A lovely read, Moya.
