Cut up

a place

to go, that is not there

a space to be

that does not exist out there

the place is within me

created by me

yet it can be seen by others

touch others

when a surgeons knife

comes into that place

and cuts

it cuts at the heart of me

no control over where that knife goes

I did not consent

it is a violation

of a place

an investment

that I now know I made

without knowing I did
