Too long
I feel your absence
Like cool drink
Waits for a mouth
Too long
Your presence
Becomes more memory
Than fact
Too long
The loss I feel
Is filled with everything
but you
Too long
You can come back
Come back into my arms
Please
Too long has not become
too much
but I feel the lack of you
As if you are dead
Please
Do not be dead
Please
Come back soon

Really quite moving, MD. Tugs at the heart.

Thanks man.

I could read poetry like this all day, few words, much said.

Thanks shoe. Yeah there is something nice about a readable clean poem without words that are too complex.

Rather painfully close to the bone.

Thanks for stopping by. Some connection between this and your "tract" poem, yours is genious though: a mercedes to my mazda.

Not at all. Yours is pared down and raw, something I wish I was brave enough to do :)

Interesting. Thanks. :-)

Hey denni.. I left the country, they found someone else. Hurtful but happy they are not alone, sort of. I made a decision, and this was the cost. Let me know how you are getting on denni.
