Possibly the worst poem ever

I am reaching new heights
When to write and when not to
Wait for inspiration?
What if I die tomorrow?
Unexpressed
But there are thousands of books
Piling unread
I think of Alan Partridge's book which was pulped
How sad
And yet how many stars in the sky
And how many atoms in the earth
And how few humans there are alive right now
In comparison?
How few even who have written poetry
And fewer still writing right now
Write my friends
Write at all costs!
Let quality not be your issue
Unchain the unconscious mind from the wall
Let it guide your fingers on the keyboard
Or the pen in your hand,
That precious hand formed in your mother's womb
The one who gave birth to you
However you were made, let us assume your were made in the womb
By two sets of genes, one from mum and one from dad
And you came forth
And you can read and you can write
Why read right now,
When you can write
Turn your eyes from this page
Start your own
Let your mind flow
You may feel a great release as I do
However self indulgent,
Can you not allow that precious you
Some space
Some time
It is your life
You know yourself
And maybe that knowledge is still growing
You are learning things about you
That you had no idea of
How you work
What makes you tick
How you relate to others
Your weaknesses
Your strengths
But you are unique
Even the identical or
Conjoined twin
Have separate elements
You are alive for reasons
Those reasons you live
And discover
And remember you are part
Of a bigger whole
The group firstly of humans
But then also of animals
Life, including plants
But then also of matter
And if you are part of matter
You are part of time
Even gravity
All these forces are you
And within you
Now tell me you are not special
Not unique
And not deserving of the highest standard of care
Love yourself as a part of the whole
Because the whole thing
Everything
Is in you too
