There’s a tiger in the fridge, screamed Mum,
And her face told me she meant it,
I crept along and had a look,
I think she must have dreamt it.
It was big and bright with orange stripes,
Mum said, I can’t be wrong,
Look, footprints in the margarine,
And half the eggs have gone.
A tiger in the fridge said Dad,
Are you sure you’re not mistaken?
No cried Mum I saw it run
With it’s mouth stuffed full of bacon.
I ran outside I laughed so much,
But then I felt a fool,
I turned to see Flamingos
And a Hippo in our pool.

Thanks Hannah, I just read your "love to bounce" children's poem. Nice work. I loved it. Welcome and congratulations on the cherry.
