Just logging in to deny the ugly rumour that I'd died.

I do however have a problem in as much as my Broadband connection went AWOL on Monday of last week and the twats still haven't sorted it out.

Normal service will be resumed asap.

Yep it's brilliant well done guys! My computer hard drive went up the swanny but I've discovered a community centre here with free unlimited access to the internet. This is fine during the day but as I tend to write at night I'm pacing up and down champing at the bit. I wanted to place stuff that I'd saved onto floppy, but as I've saved everything on WPS and all these places only have RTF I'm stymied. Once I get the computer back I shall put everything onto RTF in case I'm computerless and gaga again.

RTF = rich text file... a format which means it is readable by any other word processing programme... WPS =... erm... Word file? Works file? :-) * P * :-)

OK, normal service IS now resumed. The bastards took 12 days to sort it out, and then had the temerity to say there had never been a problem. I'll save my 'well done' until i've had time to use the site, but for now tea calls. So who wants a fight then?
