wyrd in a circle of sun ink - sparts?????

i like the start but the rest is confoozling what is it to do with

"What meadow is not left unshod?
To dour god and flouring moods
With freckles and long auburn hair
Where banshee heckles in the air
Speckled with dire urchin broods"

does that actually mean something!

i dont get this is it just rubbish?

"Old rotten tin bell time
You chime and call out sublime
Through the ancient tinder blood
That I should and heaven would
Bless and yet decline and remain
Without haste or word malign"

what are you saying here!

*x*
Pel :()----------?

p.s. sorry but you spelt weird wrong .*)

I would like a link to this poem to see if it is rubbish, or 'confoozling'!!! Chris

Pelbea... haven't read the poem, but as "wyrd" is an Anglo-Saxon precursor to "weird," I think you may find that there is no error on the author's part, re the spelling of such! See http://www.lynnellen.co.uk/wyrd1.php for further details (which suggests that the original meaning of "wyrd" is actually more to do with "fate" than the more modern "werid," which is perhaps more about "strangeness")... :-) * P * :-) ( Read my blog! - www.oddcourgette.blogspot.com )

I'm werid about your spelling Pepsi :O)
Oops! Although apparently "werid" is a little known synonym for "impotent"... http://www.ukmedixplus.co.uk/forum/viewmessages.cfm/Forum/21/Topic/514/m... :-) * P * :-) ( Read my blog! - www.oddcourgette.blogspot.com )

The All New Pepsoid the Second!

Yeah - wyrd ranks alongside faerie/faery as opposed to fairy. Terry Pratchett's "Wyrd Sisters" is a good example. "I have a room for life at the Home for the Chronically Groovy."

"I have a room for life at the Home for the Chronically Groovy."

Ahh well, on the "faerie/faery" debate, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell seems to indicate that a "fairy" is a fairy-type-personage, whereas "Faerie" is fairykind (like humankind)... :-) * P * :-) ( Read my blog! - www.oddcourgette.blogspot.com )

The All New Pepsoid the Second!

Yes, but does somebody have the link to this poem? Or know the writer? Pelbea....? Chris
