I am and probably never will be the world's most exciting poster. My contributions are not exactly radical, witty, super-clever or original so it is probably not my place to say it but the nit-picking does get a little tiresome. These threads used to liven up my day loads. I often think back fondly to the days when threads seemed more rounded. There were still silly fights, (and George), but there was a nice mix of serious debates, plenty of quality humour and the presence of an awful lot of sharp intelligence which did not go around stabbing holes during endless battles of one-up-man-ship but was attached to some very endearing people. I fully admit this may be a complete illusion and a bad case of 'things-were-better-in-the-old-days' syndrome as suffered by 'whingy-old-hags' such as myself. The reason blokes post more is because we leave the lid up on the laptop, making it easier to access the keyboard. Lasses have a compulsion to put lids, seats etc. down - for no good reason - thus slowing down the whole process.

If women just peed on the floor and didn't bother cleaning up, then the world would be a much more efficient place!

Back to the gender debate - it does seem to be a 'gendered' forum in many ways. There is a good deal of 'male posturing' (go on, come and get me) on many threads. I don't wanna nit-pick here, Tim, but as I'm sure you're aware, a haemorrhoid isn't a 'disease', but rather a condition, more precisely a dangly thing hanging from ones arse; painful and definitely not to be recommended. So as you can see, our very own 'dangly' qualifies on all counts. He, along with the pikey's sweetheart, are two of the main reasons the forums are nowhere near as enjoyable as they were before they hatched.
