When you are all you despise
Now it is said in psychology etc that quite often you take a dislike to someone because they are so similar to yourself.
This can become more apparent the higher people rise in the eyes of others, arrogance I suspect.
The closer to home the harder it is to accept.

Mark Brown, our esteemed ex editor who is just sooo in touch with mental health issues and wants to do all he can, reluctant hero no less.
Tony, can't even rememeber his surmane, oh sorry, Cook, founder of numerous mags.
Confronted with the reality of the people they pretend to be about they shy away faster than a tory politician confronted with the poor.
Do any other contributers have similar experiences of acting like your for someone but when confronted with reality realising you despise them and treat them with more contempt than a bigot?
