Crazy things people do to get their manuscript noticed

In my view the funniest bits of this come towards the end.

To be honest. I think what these writers should do is unite,start their own small press magazines/ publishing companies, call themselves editors and reject the submissions of other people.
Yeh, I know. I once disguised my manuscript as a sausage and ate it, without tomato sauce.

 

I agree with you wellwisher Actually, some of these editors came across as a bit mean-spirited and humourless. But if you have to read badly written stuff all day and every day, it probably starts to get to you. As for that old trick of using good grammar and spelling, FTSE, that's so last century.

Just finished reading the author meltdown blog... oh dear, oh dear!
I'm an old fashioned innocent. Surely people buy or publish books for the content. Silly me! Luv 2 u all.
I interned for a literary agency over the summer and some of the cover letters I read were very similar, unfortunately no pizza boxes!
