Hello, just an observation.
I'd far rather use the random story option than the recently posted. I like the thought of giving older or uncommented pieces a go ... but none of the random stories that I've read so far have a comment box. I like to leave a comment on everything that I read even if it's only a couple of words to show that it has been read.

Sooz - the comment boxes were only added relatively recently and to go back and add them to all the old stories would, I am told, be a long and arduous task for the techies which we cannot afford! Sorry - but hopefully we can rectify this in time to come.
In the meantime please make comments on the 'Discuss Writing from ABC' forum - with a link to the relevant piece. You can make the link by copy and pasting the url of the page into your comment.

Unless it's a piece that really stands out I figured that it might clog up the board referring to eons old stuff by people who may not still be around. I'm into the recently added stuff now .. and the comment boxes are great. Thanks Tony.
