Challenge Me...

Hi everyone

I wanted some help... I want to write about something other than a personal experience, so I was hoping someone could give me a helping hand.

Maybe a title
or a topic
or even just a name, and and a hint of their charactor.

Im hoping that this will inspire some creativity.
Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated and like wise, if anyone else takes on the suggestions, it would be interesting to see how different writers approach it.

Emma, I wrote a poem last night based on the word Ambivalence. Maybe that will help you? I tend to take everyday occurances and let them twist and grow in my mind into something completely new. Just remember that I'm no expert! Lisa PS Your funeral story for instance, you could have the coffin fall out the back, or have someone tear by you and crash into the hearst, scattering corpse and flowers all over the road!

My Larry & Mick stories come about by my literally just thinking of a funny title... or... by thinking of the most mundane thing someone can get up to (my latest is about adjusting ties) & challenging myself to build a story around it... or... Have you tried picking a word at random out of a dictionary & writing about it? Or... Just starting with a first line which, if you were reading it, would grab your attention...? Randomness, I find, is a great tool for sparking creativity! "P"
