Ooh yippee!! My girlfriend told me I should publish that one. I wrote it on the train home from Brighton, inspired by a credit card advert I spotted in a magazine my girlfriend was reading! So what are the implications of being cherrypicked then?

Thank you for your comments, Nikaya! Although I prefer to say "surreal" rather than "mindless" - makes me sound like I know what I'm doing! Larry & Mick... Irish... can't say I've thought about it... I'm not one of these authors who devises a complete biography of a character before writing any stories about them... I like to learn about them myself, as I observe what they get up to - which isn't that much yet (apples and yoghurt don't say that much about a person), but I have a potential 16 more story titles in mind... So we'll see! I always have clean underwear to hand. Just read your "OXYGEN for angels" - sort of sci-fi poetry, which appeals to me! I like the idea of writing about an "element" (assuming it's not all just a metaphor for something else?) I was just about to ask what "btw" means, but I was going to say, "By the way, what does btw mean?"... then I figured it out... Duh...! Anyway, CU around... "P"

Don't worry about the repetitions, Nikaya - you can tell me you love my writing as many times as you like! Regarding the typo... do you mean the "gentleman two showers down from them" part? If so, it was intentional... As in, "the gentlemen occupied the 2nd shower away from Larry & Mick"... see?

Well the first collection done! & 3 tales into "Further Tales..." I think I'm addicted!

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not a Brightonian. I've recently been there, considered living there, & just finished reading The Brightonomicon by Robert Rankin, but I actually herald from the beautiful city of Worcester. 'Herald'... that's not a word you hear much these days, is it? Or is it just me...?

Famous? Really? Where? Not that I have an ego or anything... Ahh, who am I kidding? I'm a writer, of course I have an ego!
