Worrying Crushes

Radio 2 had a phone in last weekend about disturbing or unusual crushes people have had. These have ranged from Wilma Flintstone to Bambi's father or even more worrying, Alan Titchmarsh.

My two most worrying crushes are "Data" from Star Trek's next generation and very recently, Mr Tumnus from the new Narnia film.

Can anyone better these?

I too have a crush on Mr Tumnus (well on James Mcavoy who plays him anyway), he is gorgeousness itself in C4's Shameless.

Did you create this thread just for me? Jonothan Ross used to be deamed a weird crush, but everyone fancies him now. Do I have to mention my Marty Crane from Frasier crush? Or Dick Van Dyke in his Diagnosis Murder Phase? Or Dennis Lawson in Bleak House? Or that black haired annoying one in Busted? Or Ade Edmondson? Or Paul 'one day he will see sense and love me' Merton? Or Ewan McGregor as OB1 Kenobe? Or Macauly Culkin (now NOT in his Home Alone phase) No. Best not. Best keep that all to myself and save some kind of dignity.

Oooh, I love this post! My weird crushes are: Gary Oldman as the Count in Bram Stoker's Dracula (NOT when he's wearing the creepy prosthetics, mind you!) Captain Jean Luc Picard from Star Trek - (well, it's not as weird as having a crush on Data, but still..) James Purefoy as Marcus Antonius in the HBO series 'Rome'; what a bastard. Such sadism! Such a baby oiled torso! Lift yer skirt fer us, darlin'! Michael Portillo. Seriously. Can't help myself.

I read an interview with "Mr Tumnus" who apparently is very crushable. He points out that Mr Tumnus in the film is half-man, half-goat and invites nine year old girls to his house for tea. Ah, more innocent days ...
