Can anyone remember...

Just a quick shout out, can anyone remember the inspiration point a while ago where only a certain number of words or possibly syllables were to be used per sentence?

It's for something I'm working on and I couldn't remember how many words/syllables were to be used and which author this was imitating.

Any help would be much appreciated.
