Vanessa Gebbie at Brighton Event - this Thursday!

Short Fuse, Brighton's unique short fiction showcase, is proud to welcome back Vanessa Gebbie, one of Britain's upcoming literary talents and Sussex resident.

She will be reading at the themed event, 'Slings and Arrows' at The Komedia.

Her recently published collection of short tales 'Words from a Glass Bubble' (Salt Publishing, 2008) has received glowing reviews and Vanessa will be reading 'Dodie's Gift' which Zadie Smith described as 'a beautiful piece... a real achievement.' There will also be readings from four other local writers including Tara Gould, Jac Cattaneo and Jo Horsman.
