When You’ve Got It All
When you know you’ve got it all
Why do you want more?
What’s wrong with your existence?
You view pleasure as a chore?
A round of roles and duties
You’d like to show the door?
But once you remove the structure
You remove the core
The fabric & life’s reason
That defines your every pore
You throw away all that you had
Longing to explore
But found only much more of the same
As you searched ship to shore
Reflect then on what you’ve cast away
From your draughty eight by four.
