Never Ending 3

He's in the station cafe, in front of glass of whiskey. At his right side, on the table, the note and the key seem out of place. He shivers.
Growl opens the door. A gust of frozen wind blows the note, that goes flying to the floor. Basil takes the key and runs to the backdoor.
He plunges into a cool and windy night. Just as he is turning the corner a taxi comes in sight and basil stops it. With one swift move he
steps in.
'To Carlton Square'.He tells the driver.
He sighs and he turns the key with his fingers. He knows where the door is... Eternity!.
The Blackair Mansion.He hadn't bee there in years.Does Swan still live there ? Basil shudders.He doesn't want to meet him. That would be too stressing.
The cab comes to a halt.The great black iron gates of Eternity look unfriendly and grim, crossed by silvery moon shadows and dark green ivy entangled to its solid bars.
Basil pays the driver and walks towards the shadowy portal. It's unlocked,so he goes through and walks silently to the front door.
The house is dark. No lights on. Basil moves on to the back, where the green house is.Next to it, the chapel stands with its withered stone walls in shadows, the wooden door alluring, with its golden keyhole inviting Basil to
open it and reveal the truth.
So he opens the door. It's so dark in there, that he can barely see. One step, two steps and then...
All of a sudden he feels the energy around him changing. A draft of cold wind,slaps his face and makes him shiver . Dim and blueish lights
surround him. He sways in an energetic vortex full of light and shadows. A vertiginous spinning into a black hole.Then, abruptly, he finds himself in the middle of a maze garden, surrounded by a sombre forest. Evening approaching. Twilight.
