The victim was a thirty-four year old woman.
They could not release her name until the victim's family had been notified.
This latest victim was the same as all the others had been. Her head and twenty-seven other body parts were missing, and she had been completely exsanguinated.
Next to the body, written on a torn piece of paper, was a letter written in Italian.
It read...
"Un grande silenzio è venuta, insieme ad una ancora maggiore oscurità.
I misteri del mondo saranno noti a me, solo a me.
Questa strada è sempre lunga e tortuosa.
Credete nella maggior bene, e vedere il quadro più ampio."
("A great silence is coming, along with an even greater darkness.
The mysteries of the world will be known to me, only me.
This road is still long and winding.
Believe in the greater good, and see the bigger picture. ")
Everyone in the hospital who had seen the news broadcast was horrified.
"This cannot continue. Something must be done to stop this."
Said one woman in the waiting room.
Mariya was upset about the latest murder, but her mind was on Maya only.
"I don't think things could possibly get any worse.
My daughter is near death, my husband is missing and there are all of these murders going on."
She said to Caelia
"Well, everything happens for a reason.
Maybe you are just being tested, and one day, great things will happen to you as reward for your strength."
Said Caelia
"Well, my strength is about gone."
Said Mariya
Rayna walked outside of the hospital to try called her father again, but because of the storm, she could not get a reception.
"Where is he?"
Rayna thought to herself, while becoming more and more frustrated.

Elena was making soup for Antanas.
She believed that he had a concussion, and needed to keep him awake.
However, that was becoming quite difficult.
He kept drifting off.
She tried her best to keep him awake by telling stories from the past.
The soup was done, and she served it in a white ceramic bowl.
He tried to eat it, although he wasn't that hungry.
There was a long moment of silence, and it was becoming awkward.
She tried desperately to think of something to say.
"I sure do wish I had my memory back.
I have this undying feeling that I have something really important to do, but I just can't remember what."
Stated Antanas
"You need something to jog your memory.
Maybe you have a picture of your family in your wallet. May I go check?"
He agreed and handed her his wallet that was in the back pocket of his trousers.
Inside she found some cash, credit cards and at last, photos.
"This must be your family."
She then handed him back his wallet, and told him to get a good look at them in hopes his memory would return.
He stared at the photos for quite a while.
The people did look familiar, but his memory was still absent.
"Your wife is really lovely, and so are your daughters."
Mariya and Elena were both unnatural blond.
However, they looked very different.
Elena could pass as a supermodel.
She was tall and thin with porcelain skin and long hair tied back.
"Since I cannot remember anything about myself, why don't you tell me about yourself?"
Said Antanas
"There's really not that much to tell.
I was devastated after you left me. I started working as a waitress at a local restaurant, but it wasn't enough to pay the bills.
I was evicted from my home.
Tried to move back in with my parents, but they wouldn't let me.
I was ready to go to the woman's shelter when I was approached by this woman asking me if I was interested in modeling.
I declined, but she gave me her business card anyway, and told me to call her if I changed my mind.
After my first night in the shelter, I realized that I had no choice.
I called her, and then began the seemingly endless roller coaster ride.
I had some pictures published in three magazines, and did a few shows in Paris, but it wasn't for me.
I continued it just long enough to finish nursing school. I did, however, get into a lot of legal trouble.
The modeling company that I was with said I breached their contract, and sued me for everything I was worth, which was not that much.
Overall, I do not regret what I did because it did get me out of the shelter, but it is a dark page in my history book. I guess everyone has things about their past that they are not particularly proud of."
"How is your life now?"
Asked Antanas
"It's fine, I guess.
I continue to work as a nurse while going to med school at night.
I was married for four years, but he turned out to be nothing more than an abusive, alcoholic jerk!
I divorced him."
She looked over at Antanas and was surprised to see him sleeping.
She tried to wake him up, but it was in vain.
The ambulance still had not arrived.
"Antanas, Antanas, please open your eyes."
Her cries went ignored.
Antanas would not wake up.
