Living in a war

Wings beat with furious intent
Intent designed to drag the weight it carried
Across to the distant lands of lore
And rest it's tired head, sleeping eternal.
Dragons and creatures of myth
All stem from these fabled lands of legend
Nothing more than the whisper of the wind
In the ears of the willing.
Some say death heralds the next step
Into meeting these heroes of ascension
Other's say death is nowt but a void
Of burning desire and gluttony.
Those who dare to hope and believe
That there may be a next place
For us to rest our heads, like those wings
May have the strength to lay final.
Imagine a world of soaring blues and refreshing green
A place where blood is unknown and war is but a myth itself
A place where pain and suffering are nothing of the imagination
and love and peace prosper to fruition.
Imagine it, and recognise it.
This land of lore you have created,
The one you see before you when you close your eyes
and the one you can still see, when you open them again.
View the blues and the whites, the reds and the greens
See the peace of the land, and the innocence of the young
Feel the love and the joy of the parents eyes
and spread these views you see before you.
Maybe War will become a passing myth, a horror of unknwon origin
Maybe War will ravage humanity to the brink of extinction
Maybe War will reshape the earth, and bleach colour from the world.
All we know, is that to fight a war, Two sides must oppose.
Well I say, Take your side, Gather your allies!
Pit yourself not against your fellow man
But against instead the forces that would have you fight!
Do not force the peace that can be taken freely.
Imagine a world, where your children can stay alive.
