Sil Vester can't believe what happened. What a disaster ! Ara's dead body lies in a pool of blood at his feet.

Sil sits down on the ground and weeps. He's doomed! Nowhere to hide! Nowhere to go ! He knows what his future is going to be. He's of no use anymore. He shudders. He's defeated.

Laila doesn't understand what he's talking about. She was stabbed ! She still can feel the pain. Slowly she focus on him again. Bewildered. Frightened. Stunned.

'What do you mean ?... Oh!... I feel like fainting... Please!...'

Laila tries hard not to faint. she must remain calm. Is this a nightmare? She doesn't want to know. With a great effort ,she looks at her side. The shirt is ripped. She lifts it. There, on her smooth white skin is a very deep and long wound. But no blood. Something like transparent silicone is coming from it instead.

'What the hell ?!...'

' I'm sorry ,Laila !..That you have to discover it in this way... It seems you're a Subject, dear !.... Didn't you know !... I thought subjects knew what they were !...I'm so sorry!'

Laila begins to laugh hysterically.

'Didn't I know?... Ha, ha, ha ha !.... Didn't you know ?!...Well.... You're a subject too! Ha ha !'

'Oh dear !... It's alright !.... I can imagine what you're going through, but ...'
