Reflections

I feel you, in the eastern breeze;
That rushes through my sated mind.
In the slow ascent of the rising sea;
That wrestles so sinlessly divine.
Upon my aching parted so cracked lips;
That long to nestle crystalline.
within in the rivers of your eclipse;
which rides so high,upon this sky,
And longs to shine and clarify.
I see you, in the cold clear waters;
that are forever lapping delicately.
They stroke, and then they scrape,
these orbs of black hardened stone;
with tenderness and vibrancy.
That seem to me, as living seeds,
Spent forth from some selfish god.
whose home has been this sacred sea;
and whose feet we have been shod.
I sense you, in the damp driftwood;
which is rusting rich and red-lined.
Itself gorged upon your tender kisses;
How it thuds in slow rhythmic delight.
For it aches and longs to penetrate;
The damp and willing near open sand.
I hear its cries so eager and contrite,
so small so tender, and so slight,
yet its eager motion is so grand.
Time, its resonant echo’s shatter;
For that has lost its meaning here.
Gone is the purpose and the prison,
removing all of my revolting fear.
Creating within me something new;
A greater sense of understanding.
bring shades of light and hews,
Reflecting on this gilded shore;
A secret climax of eternal branding.
