In the paper bag

I'm trapped inside this paper bag
It's not a problem, just a snag
I'm trying to remember how
I got in here, to get out, now.

It's dark and crinkly in this place
There is no air, there is no space
And while the bag lets in some light
The dimness messes with my sight.

I'm trapped inside this paper bag!
I guess it seems it's just a snag -
I really want to make it out!
I want to scream, I want to shout!

How did I get here? It's insane
And now, outside, it starts to rain
And this bag leaks and sticks to me
Please let me out - let me be free!

The bag has weakened, so I push
It gives and rips and out I rush
I'm free! I'm free! No bag for me!
I tread lightly on bag debris.
