"Young Min, May I speak to the young boy?" Father Kim asked.
"Yes. Please do."
"Young Boy, what is your name?"
"It's Young Min Boy."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well. That's my new name. I used to have an old name but Young Min told me to get rid of it so I did."
"And she renamed you Young Min Boy?"
"Yes she did."
"Don't you love your parents?"
"I don't love my parents. I hate them. They both work and I spend all my time with my grandparents. My grandparents spoil me silly. I was becoming a bad boy."
"Don't you love your grandparents?"
"No. Well... I did, but then, my parents started to blame my grandparents for spoiling me silly so they made me hate them. Then, I was so confused so I just stopped caring."
"Jesus loves you even if your parents don't love you."
"But Jesus says that all people who do not believe in him goes to hell so I suppose Jews, Asians, Blacks... all our ancestors went to hell. If a culture is not taken over by Christianity, it pretty much goes to hell, doesn't it?"
"Who told you that?"
"Young Min. She's very smart."
"Are you going to kill her grandfather?"
"I don't know. There's so much evil in this world, I don't know if a killing will make much of a difference."
"Did Young Min ask you to kill her grandfather?"
"No. She asked me to meditate on evil."
"And what is evil to you?"
"Evil is hatred personified."
"And isn't Young Min trying to make you kill her grandfather because she hates him?"
"No. She wants to kill him because she cannot let go what happened to her."
"Well, you've done quite a job on him, Young Min," Father Kim said.
"It's really nothing personal Father."
Young Min's spirit rose up to the moon and she smiled. Father Kim could see her beautiful face. Her eyes were as dark as ink, dripping. Her smile signaled triumph.
