"Jump!"
"What?"
"I said jump."
"I thought this was supposed to be a sexual dream."
"You're impotent."
"Even in my dreams?"
"Yes. Jump!"
Jason looked down and saw a mountain below him. The plane was hovering over the mountain.
"I'm afraid."
"But you are immortal. You must jump."
"No. I don't want to."
Someone pushed him overboard.
Jason screamed at the top of his lungs for what seemed to be a long time.
"Spread your arms as though they were wings," Francis' voice said.
"Why should I listen to you?"
"I'm trying to save your life."
"I'm immortal."
"Spread your arms," she said again.
He spread his arms and opened his eyes. It was Mt. Everest that was underneathe him. He recognized it.
He could feel the wind brushing briskly past him. He was cold. He realized he was naked. He leaned his body to one side then the other side. It was quite an experience to be flying, but then he would have to land.
"Am I flying?" asked Jason.
"No. You're dropping fast onto a mountain."
"Why are you helping me?"
"Because I pity you, Jason."
"That's a funny thing to say. Is this some sort of test? Am I supposed to make a perfect landing on the mountain on something?"
"No."
"Then what?"
"Well, you're immortal so what are you going to when you are thrown off a plane?"
"My bones will not break when I hit the mountain and my flesh will not be cut."
"Do you truly believe that?"
"I'm not sure..."
Jason started to drop quickly toward the mountain.
He hit a tree, bounced off of it and then fell on the ground.
Jason opened his eyes. He stood up. He examined his body. Then it was true that he was immortal.
Jason noticed a man staring at him. Jason stared back at him. The man ran away as quickly as he could.
