Bigger.
Stronger.
Leaner.
Meaner.
Faster.
Fiercer.
Tiger.
Roar!
------------------------
I am tiger.
I am power
and, when I grrr
or I glower,
craven creatures
run and cower
‘cause I am tiger
and I devour.
-------------------------
Warrior tiger slowly swaggers;
his glaring eyes, two golden daggers;
the fearsome war-paint of his stripes
warning, “Beware! These claws can swipe”,
then, stretching wide his mouth, he roars;
thunder with lightning flash of jaws;
a cry of battle to announce
that he is preparing to pounce.
------------------------------
Tiger, oh Tiger;
to say the least,
you’re a fiercely,
ferociously
beautiful beast
with your bold stripes
so striking
and your fiery fur.
If the lion is a king
then you’re an empe-
roar.
