The evil and greed outweigh the constant hunger and tiredness
The stress and shame outweigh the pride and the joy I once had
I'm surrounded by people who love me yet I'm isolated by my own mind
My mind and my eyes are clouded by a haze of dark thoughts and bad dreams
As I am used to the cold shivers down my spine I realize that I'm my own greatest enemy, I am the evil twin
My feet hurt, my head aches, I'm tired of being tired
I'm running out of options as even the light at the end of the tunnel begins to dim
My greatest nightmare is coming true as the man I will become will meet the man I could have been.

This is fantastic poetry, my friend. I really like the last two lines there. It was a great way to end it.
Keep up the good work.

Hello Spyros.
I think that this is a very good poem. I don't know what has happened this last week but this site is chock-a-block with high end quality poetry.
