The T.V.

It was just a regular Friday night for Debbie. She was babysitting for the Thompsons while they went out and got drunk, nothing unusual. She had noticed something peculiar though. The last couple of times she had came over, Tommy, the young boy she babysits always has his T.V. turned around facing the wall when she puts him to bed. When she asked him why he had done this he replied, “I don’t like it when she looks at me, last time she almost got me.” Debbie just dismissed it as a bad dream as she turned Tommy’s T.V. around. Later that night after Tommy was asleep and she was downstairs watching T.V., she heard footsteps upstairs. “He’s supposed to be asleep,” she said. She just decided to ignore it and continued watching T.V. A few minutes later she heard more footsteps and decided to go put him in his place. While she was walking up the stairs she noticed it was much colder than downstairs. This was unusual considering it is the middle of July. When she got to the boys door she got an uneasy feeling that she shouldn’t open the door, but she decided she had to. When she opened the door she was greeted by the frightening sight of a little girl sitting in the middle of the floor. She was wearing a white dress and was cover in blood. When Debbie asked the little girl who she was and where she came from the little girl replied,” You should’ve listened..."
