How wrong can you be

Keen to continue with what you might call my hobby I visited a man in nearby Burton Latimer.
As its been several years since I interviewed people for my first book Memory's of Finedon I expected a challenge. Not from my contributor but myself.
I arrived from hospital, I'm having physiotherapy following a hand operation nine weeks ago. I apologised for being an hour early; not a good start as the family was about to sit down to a Monday Roast. Not at all phased by my intrusion they invited me to sit down a share a meal with them. I suppose you might say that this was my ice-breaker.
I asked if it was ok to use my tape-recorder, I'm not able to fully use my hand, of course came the reply. We covered so much during my hour and a half there. I quickly slipped into another mode. I've always been a quiet person; never wanting to either overstep the mark or to offend.
He shared marvellous memory's with me which I know I will include in my next book entitled Tomorrows Memory's.
In order to make a valid contribution to these story's I need to have my nose close to the ground and my ears flapping. If you see someone whispering into their tape-recorder, don't worry, it's only me.
