Give a man a fish

so that he may feed his children

and become dependent upon you

Give him a net

so that he may feed his children and others

and become dependent upon his tools

Give him a market

so that he may feed his children and the world

and become dependent upon the oceans

Give him a purpose

so that his children may feed and teach their offspring

to become dependent upon the fish given

Give him knowledge

so that he may learn and teach his children

how to give fish sparingly and to viably sustain the future of the oceans

Or foolishly, give him complete power

so that he may corrupt, monopolise and rape the world, in the name of his children

and thus become, the one on whom both you and the oceans, depend upon
