their tawdry traces to gild, then shield

Azure sky bands sparkle their crowns

as the glare hides the stroked loose ends

Pearly-charged clouds dip down

spreading a dewy skirt, shocking

sentient bases, while electrifying

rendered loins

Golden sunbeams trace a halo

around their profane brows all

A soothing breeze girds their flanks
