Apples To Oranges

So you can tie cherries' stems in knots with your tongue.

Do they taste any better?

I just swallow them by the handful,

I don't have time to spit out the stones.

It's apples to oranges, buddy.

We both fell near trees far apart,

but here we are crammed in the same produce bin;

Polished up, stacked half-a-dozen high,

soaked in poison so the bugs won't show.

And we're both rotting just as fast.
