The duty to reflect,in times of peace,is not a given

the knowledge of the past must be imposed upon the future

else why do we write?

Lay down the gentlest strokes of the brush upon the canvas

not in vanity but in strident hope for future humanity

else why do we paint?

Let beauty claim the better senses for the soul

destroy not the land yet break the mold

else why do we live?
