Winter be gone
May again see glorious views from mountains,
venture through lush green wooded glens
Spy shy deer and rare feisty wildcats and pine martens
Wander by beautiful lochs and waterfalls
Hear birds harmonious songs
See carpets of colourful flowers
and gurgling rivers teeming with life
Winter be gone
I may feel alive again

Smashing poem!
Smashing poem Tony, you certainly love nature. At least my daffodils are poking through the iced soil. It's depressing these days because lack of light. Carry on writing my friend. Geraldine.
