A/N: This is part of the script in a a play called "Thor Triumphant" and the part that you are going to read below is "The song of the Valkyries". The 4th graders at my moms school performed this and I thought it would be neat to share, so enjoy!
More briliant than lightning
Sky-shaking and frightening
Defiant and delighting, in war and in strife
We are valkyries! We are valkyries!
When sharp spears are flying
When cowards cringe, crying
When heroes lay dying, for us that is life
We are Valkyries! We are Valkyries!
Sisters from the battlefeild, we've harvested a mighty yield
Oh how the blood flowed on this day
From men who live to smite and slay
Their scrams and moans, their yelps and fears, were music to my Aesir ears
But the bravest of them all we will carry up to Odens hall
We are Valkyries! We are Valkyries

Lovely rhythm to it, I bet
Lovely rhythm to it, I bet the kids enjoyed doing it. Did they do the whole play, or just this section?

Thanks for letting me know
Thanks for letting me know Chessnut. In that case, you need to make it very clear who the author is in the introductory paragraph - otherwise it looks as if you're passing off someone else's work as your own!
