To me you are perfect

I know you don't always see,
don't always believe,
as the voices in your head
are trying to decieve you.
But to me it couldn't be clearer,
and the way I feel couldn't be nearer
to the truth,
I don't need proof to see.
That you really are perfect to me.
I accept all of you, truly and deeply,
accept what you call flaws,
as part of what got you here,
of part of the battles you've fought
to have got so far.
I will not hide your scars,
I will cover them with love
and that can be your medicine,
I'm not a knight made of tin,
a twat in tin foil as you say,
I will treat you a different way
to all those who came before,
because you make my soul soar.
I know you don't believe me
but I swear that this is true,
for me you are perfect
and I will try as hard as I can
to be perfect for you.
