Ten To One

 

I’m at odds with life

Never got an even break

At two to one

A one in three chance

Four horsemen came a dancing

Five strangled minutes more

Six furlongs to the finish

Fence seven saw my hope diminish

An eight stone jockey hit the deck

Rule nine applies

Ten to one….time for lunch
