Authors Preface

Let me invite you into the lonely life of travelling musician . Your welcome to come on in , I have been a busker for many years with the world as my stage . The streets are an open door for every performance and thousands of people have heard me play in their towns everyday .

You may even have been one who heard me , the busker .

I have seen many people and heard many stories .

This journey begins in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales ,  in Australia from a spot under a railway track in a tunnel before the rush hour begins .
That’s where I stood to play them a few songs as they raced past for a bus or a train to work or school .

Now and then some stop to throw a coin in my guitar case . I only ask you to spend some time and read my story . Thank  you for your donation .

This is a story about my personal experiences busking around Ireland , England and   Australia . The journey in sharing my songs with others was a long hard road for six years with a guitar and a suitcase . 

Come with me to a place where , the street corners are a stage and people love of hate the busker .

As we leave Sydney and some fellow street musicians for a busk around the UK and Ireland  the unknown awaits .

Across the water to Ireland to people and places with different situations along  the way . From pillar to post , bashed up on the streets, hungry and homeless , admired and rejected before eventually making it back to Australia with nothing to show for it all .
