Now It Is Too Late.

I was going to write about her a few days ago, and each day I meant to since we all heard about her. Then they gave more info about her and that suddenly changed everything. At work, we were divided, some lost interest, some just didn’t care anymore.  I and some others, still wanted to know, that she was alright. Now she had been put in a negative light, it was wrong of the information to be made public.

It was bad enough that they disclosed that she was going through the menopause but to say that she is an alcoholic, that was a big mistake! What difference should that make? Like years ago, they would say, “She was a prostitute.” She is still a person with feelings. She is still someone’s mother, aunt, sister, cousin, niece, grandmother, friend.

I wondered were she could be, I to be honest thought she had been kidnapped, and was still alive somewhere.

So, it was very sad to hear today that a body has been pulled from the river Wyre.

I think of her two young daughters.
