Mother of Bethlehem

shadows of angels all through the night

Seemed to be dancing in the moon light .

 

 

Mother of Bethlehem

Wisemen and shepherds followed the light

Until they saw this wonderful sight.

 

 

Mother of Bethlehem

hundreds of angels hovered above

this hallowed place of heavenly love .

 

 

Mother of Bethlehem

Everyone there just looked at his face  

Born is the King of redeeming grace.

 

Mother of Bethlehem

Wisemen and shepherds came to the child

They Worshipped him and ,Jesus just smiled .

I liked this Paul; the way it repeats and develops the mother theme, and the rhyming for me is fine, a nice way to meditate on the Nativity.
