The Monster Bigot

For about a hundred years in Settlers City a monster known as Bigot lived underneath the city streets,  unseen and unheard .

People had always assumed that all the regular citizen they knew who had gone must have been part of emigration push to populate far away lands . Not one of the people in the city ever imagined that most of the missing people had become victims of the cruel green eyed monster who snatched them away under the cover of darkness at night   It was only when by chance that things happened the way they did . .

.With a population of a half a million people in the city there was a small group who knew about Bigot and this group had supported everything the monster was doing . In return the monster gave them access to the underground passages with the exit holes that had been constructed behind the secret walls and hidden doors in banks , schools , libraries and government buildings .

The group who supported Bigot were known as The Dust Settlers who had cleaned up all the remains left by Bigot after he devoured the flesh of those he snatched .

The monster’s inhumane  strength was increased each time he ate human flesh and his hunger was never satisfied

Once a week he would emerge out from the dark passages into the city streets .

Dressed in a black cloak , his slimy scaley skin could not be seen . He wore dark glasses to hide the hideous glow from his piercing green eyes . The only thing that he couldn’t hide was the awful stench that followed him everywhere he went .

Bigot had been the product of a laboratory experiment gone wrong after a group of local scientists and biochemists had attempted to create a life form using stem cells and the DNA from monkeys on guinea pigs who lay unconscious in quantum interactive chambers after a process known as electrical cell grafting had occurred  through a biochemistry transfusion of particles known as cunsters pods were administered over three weeks , day after day within a reptilian environment .

Bigot was created by these evil men who had given life to a homeless man who was given parcels of food land a cash payment for his part in this pioneering of new life in their experiment to establish a new life from a human .

The experiment was finished and Bigot was created however immediately after he was freed from the Quantum chamber he tore apart those who had created him . After eating them he took refuge down in the sewer tunnels underneath the city streets . It was down there where he built shelters and exit holes all over the city where he could come and go as he pleased   Down there was his world where he was able to remain unseen  As time passed Bigot survived by snatching passers by from the streets at night . It was just by accident he was seen and sedated by a secret cult , known as Ratmen who also lived under the city . The Ratmen were mercenaries and escaped prisoners who kept out of sight for a while from time to time . The Ratmen were able to restrain Bigot with chemicals until they made an agreement to set him free with strict instructions that Bigot would leave the Ratmen alone to do their business with upsetting the local government who they were going to replace with members of a group known as The Dust Settlers .

For many years the Bigot and Ratmen lived together underneath the city .

The Dust Settlers had eventually all been installed into their offices in local government buildings and no one ever suspected that their houses and businesses would one day become the property of the Dust Settlers . Already plans were underway to build deserts of houses all around the city . Everything that people thought they owned was now in the process of fortune exchange with the help of Bigot who they would often bring human sacrifices to .

To fulfil his requirements Bigot also did his part by snatching certain people in a time and place given by The Dust Settlers . Nothing and no one was spared by the Bigot and the Dust Settlers . Victims came from all walks of life , school yards ,  football fields , farms , bike clubs , nurses and doctors , every venue that provided entertainment for young and old were places of interest for Bigot and The Dust Settlers .

After many years those people who had maintained their properties were snatched away and their assess became part of the Dust Settlers fortune . Bigot was kept safe by the secret group who were gradually taking ownership of all of the building around the city .A generation passed and  no one had suspected any wrong doings were made by councillors , developers and those who were maki9ng plans to take over the entire country and eventually  the world .

For 60 years many attempts had been made to investigate the ways local government was being run by up and coming local politicians and village watchdog committees who had been approved by the people to look into future developments but time after time the investigations were put to rest and those behind them were never seem again ,

Millions of dollars were being made every day with investments and take overs made by the Dust Settlers making deals with solicitors and landlords , builders , developers and banks . Almost every night the Bigot was receiving names of those who required snatching away and disposed of .

It was all going well until a mistake was made by the Dust Settlers who gave the wrong name of a man who had to be snatched . The man who should have been taken was an electrician by the name of Jack Fickle who was nicknamed Sparky.

But then man who was snatched was Jack Candler nick named Sparkle by all his friends for his ability to shine at night for some unknown reason .

No one had known that Jack Candler had been the product of the first experiment

by those local scientists and biochemists who creates Bigot . In fact the first experiment was a success and Jack was the first of his kind .

How ironic it is but Bigot had no idea that his metabolism was allergic to Sparkle and that he would become infected by the blood of Jack Candler , the very first experiment at the secret lab .

Not unknowingly facing his own destruction Bigot snatched away Jack in the dark of night and after devouring him the body of the Bigot was internally crushed .

Now with no monster to help them m slowly a new day had dawned , and another and another . Without the help of the Bigot  some of the Dust Settlers were starting to attract interest from some governments officials from other regions and on the day when the cyclone arrived trees were being uprooted and rooves were being lifted from buildings all over the city . There was mayhem and destruction everywhere here  all fell and landed on top of them .

The Dust Settlers had all gone inside their underground bunkers for safety and protection from the incoming wild storm.

That is when the strangest happenings of all occurred .

So much torrential rain had fallen that the entire city had to be evacuated due to the flood that hit the city . Never before had there been a flood of this magnitude and all of those who took shelter in their underground bunkers were drowned .

When the flood waters had subsided workmen arrived in trucks to clean up the mess and discovered all those in their underground bunkers as well as the underground passageways with exit holes all over the city .

They also discovered the bones of thousands of people with no explanation of how they had died  . The case was left as unsolved for a long time until a group of people discovered the secret laboratory with all the documentation of the experiments that were made and after the investigations that followed the truth started to unfold .

Bigot was no more and the Dust Settlers had all died in the flood .

Every building in the city was condemned after the flood and the entire city had to be rebuilt again . Eventually life returned to normal and new people came to live in  once again .
