A Season to Remember Part 2

Once we got there I saw that the angel of the night that I saw at my door that night was my grandfather and then I saw my trainer and the captain of the soldiers that will be fighting in the war. I also found out that Demetrius too would be fighting in the war! As we started going over some of the moves I was to use in the war, we also found out my second power is to the power of battle which means I have all the knowledge a warrior needs to have to fight and the mind of a warrior. We found out this because even though I had never done all this things, I excel in all of it!

  Anyway we trained hard despite that I had the power of battle because they had to get me thinking like a warrior and they had to perfect my skills. So I trained hard and long for a full year right beside Demetrius and the more we trained and the more we got to know each other the more I fell in love with him.

When my seventeenth birthday or seventeenth moon came, everything that Urvan said did came to be. We also discover why the battle came to be and the reason why was that Varian, Valerian older brother and it turns out Varian is also Valerian twin proposed we stopped this foolish fighting and put a end to this by having a war and whoever wins will have control once and for all, and we Human vampire decided to accept the challenge but the only problem was that the battle is too take place in my hometown which is surrounded by my loved ones and friends! And the vampires on both sides did not have to worry about humans finding out about them because they planned to erase their memories of what took place that day.

“Isn’t that great I am the only one that has a concern about where the battle is too take place” I said to Demetrius.

“No you aren’t the only one that has concerns about that,” he said.

“Your grandfather is also worried because of your mother who is now vulnerable without her powers and I also am worried because of the amount of humans that might die,” he said looking into my eyes with such intense affection, and then he tilted me down and kissed me! After he kissed me I could have swore my heart beated ten times faster that day, but too bad it stopped as soon as my powers kicked in!

As soon as we reached the battle field, I saw mother waiting there and Kyra! So I ran to hug them!

         “What are you doing here mom, and why did you bring Kyra. You know she isn’t allowed here because she is human!” I asked her.

         “I heard what was going to happen to the humans and I couldn’t just sit there waiting for that to happen to me, your father, and all our friends,” she said.

         “So what can you do, you also are human remember, unless………….

         “Let me finish, she said. “So I came to fight and I was giving my power back.”

“Are you sure you want to this,” I asked her.

“They didn’t tell you did they,” she asked.

“Tell me what,” I asked

“That I was a force to be reckoned with back before I meet your father, because I had the power of invisibility and the power to blind my enemy,” she said.

“Wow mom!” I said because I was left speechless, but I quickly recover my words when my eyes found Kyra!"

“What is she doing here though; I am still confused about that part! I said.

“They didn’t tell you, did they? Mother said.”

“No, they didn’t, and there seems to be a lot they aren’t telling me!” I said

Well any way, Ummm…… Kyra is one of us! And she was there to protect you! She is your Guardian!

“Suddenly I turned on Kyra with anger blazed in my eyes!”

“So you were just pretending to be my friend all this years, worst of all, my best friend!”

“No, you were my best friend and you will always be my best friend no matter what, but I still had to do my job. I couldn’t tell you because…………

“I know! And by the way you are always going to be my best friend no matter what!”

“I still have to tell you something, mother said. It is prophesied that your guardian is to die in battle defending you, but only you can changed that”

“You bet I will!”

       “But if you can’t, I just want you to know it has been a pleasure to have known you!” Kyra said.

     “Please don’t say that!” I said

(That is when the war horn sounded!)

During the fight many lives were lost on both sides and when everything was going badly for us the Human vampires, and it looked like the Vampire bats were going to win my third power came in when I saw that Demetrius and Kyra was about to die and shocked everyone on the battle field because I protected them with a force field and then everything changed because I was able to magnify my force field in order to surround my force field around every Human Vampires that was on my side and that when we were able to win the battle, and as soon as we killed Varian, Varian persuasion control over the vampire bats was broken.”

As from that day forth, peace reigned between the Human Vampires and the Vampire bats.

As for Demetrius, Mother, Kyra, and grandfather,  we all survived the battle.

Five years later Demetrius and I got married and had three kids and I decided to stay amongst my people and not have my powers drained. Now and then I go back to the humans and go visit my best friend Kyra (she decided to go stay with the humans because one of her powers is to transform in to a human) and my other friends as well and sometimes I even bring Demetrius along. Well mother was wrong, I never hated her or anyone for what happened that day nor do I blame them.

As for mother and father they came to live amongst the Human Vampires and the Vampire Bats. How is this possible you ask? Well I will tell you. It turns out I had Four powers in all but my fourth power didn’t last that long because my fourth power was the power to make a human immortal and I chose father because since mother is already immortal like all Vampires are and cannot die unless slain they could live forever and since I wanted them to be together for all eternity, I decided to make him immortal, and once I had made him immortal my fourth power went away because I could only make one human immortal. So now I have three powers.

 As for the peace between the two vampires, I am not sure how long it will last because wherever there is good there is always evil and who knows when someone else would turn out to be like Varian, to go after power and greed and decide to do what best for themselves and nobody else. Until that day comes there is nothing we can do but wait and enjoy the peaces the reigns now, and what has just happened will be a season to remember always and forever.
