Who is beyond every writing?
A beardless punk who's smiling?
A beautiful lady in red?
An old man full of thoughts in his head?
Reading a poem, line after line,
Haven't you thought, "It is me! This is mine!
This guy wrote exactly the same
That I wanted to! It drives me insane!"
Well, I am sorry, there is no one to blame -
The first takes all credits and fame.
Love and hate, struggle and ease:
All's at hand, it's out to seize!
This time someone was faster than you
Creating a piece, just out of blue.
Don't forget, someone has already taken a pen
And written first lines as well as he can.
So my friend, let me finish this verse
And invite you to the wordsmith's curse.
Scratch your head, rack your brain,
Share with us your rapture and pain.
