As I wandered down the moonlit path
I knew that life would come and go
The whispers in the wicked wind
Voices whisper times I know.
My memories craft the road ahead
I leave behind the past
Faces, knowledge, highs and lows
Experience at last.
To wander still down life’s long road
To see what all would be
The memories that would tell so much
But never telling me.
