The Day That Went South

The day started out with Mickey Mouse,
dancing on my television screen.
But before it headed south, away from my house,
my day had to travel over seas.
Sea one was when I was dancing in my den,
along with Mickey Mouse House.
But what happened then, to my little brother Ben,
it woke my mother with a joust.
My house had caught fire, out of no desire,
because of my little brother, Ben.
He had been cooking precariously, while staring at me
carelessly, dancing ‘round and about in the den.
Then came the screams, but I kept dancing with the screen,
until I noticed the wall had gone up in flames.
But because of Ben Leems, my brother who has no means,
I had lost all of my yummy candy canes.
Sea two began when my boyfriend, Stan,
broke up with me in front of my school.
Then my best friend, Fran, had told me that Stan,
had used me just like a tool.
She told me she warned me once, and called me a dunce,
then left me in the bathroom to cry.
Sea three added to the mess, while I was losing at chess,
making me feel like I died.
But died I did, when a bully named Sid,
had punched me in the face in the end.
The day started out with Mickey Mouse,
dancing on my television screen.
But before it headed south, away from my house,
my day had to travel over seas.

I like your tale of woe. A sense of adventure and grim humour. The ballad-type rhythm works well.
